Domain

When you register and create your workspace in AyloCare, a custom subdomain is automatically generated based on your chosen workspace name. For example, if you named your workspace therapist-winston, your platform’s URL would be: therapist-winston.aylocare.com

Tip: This default subdomain is perfect for immediate access and sharing with clients, without requiring any additional configuration.

Using Your Own Domain

If you already own a domain (e.g., therapist-winston.com), you may prefer to have your platform accessible via a subdomain of your own domain (for instance, platform.therapist-winston.com). This is possible with AyloCare, but it requires coordination with our support team.

Contact AyloCare Support

Reach out to us at support@aylocare.com. We’ll guide you through the required steps and coordinate the necessary changes on our side.

Set Up DNS Records

Our support team will provide instructions on creating or updating DNS records (typically a CNAME) in your domain’s hosting panel. These records ensure that platform.therapist-winston.com points to therapist-winston.aylocare.com.

Confirm & Finalize

Once your DNS changes propagate (which can take up to 24–48 hours), we’ll confirm everything is working properly. You can then start using your new custom domain to access your AyloCare platform.

⚠️

Important: We must make some configuration changes on our end as well. Please do not finalize any DNS changes until you’ve coordinated with our support team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Use a Custom Domain?

  1. Brand Consistency
Having your platform under your own domain (e.g., platform.therapist-winston.com) strengthens your brand identity and creates a more seamless experience for clients.
  2. Professional Appearance
A custom domain can increase trust and credibility, as it looks more polished and personalized.

Can I Use a Subfolder Instead of a Subdomain?

At this time, AyloCare only supports mapping your workspace to a subdomain (e.g., platform.therapist-winston.com), not a subfolder (e.g., therapist-winston.com/platform).

How Long Does It Take?

DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to fully propagate, depending on your domain registrar and hosting provider.
