Sending Messages
The messaging interface in AyloCare is simple and direct — just select a client from the list and start typing.
How to Send a Message
Open Messages
Click Messages in the left sidebar. You’ll see a list of all clients you have conversations with.
Select a client
Click on a client’s name in the conversation list to open the chat window. If this is your first time messaging this client, a new conversation thread will start.
Type your message
Click in the text area at the bottom of the chat window and type your message. Press Enter to send, or click the Send button.

Emoji
Click the emoji icon (😊) next to the message input to open the emoji panel. Select any emoji to add it to your message.
Message History
The chat window shows your full conversation history with the client, newest messages at the bottom. Scroll up to load older messages from previous sessions.
Messages load in pages of 25. Keep scrolling up to load earlier messages.
Online Presence
When you open a conversation, you’ll see an online indicator next to the client’s name:
- 🟢 Green dot — The client is currently active on the platform
- No indicator — The client is offline or inactive
This helps you know if the client is likely to respond quickly.
Mobile
The messaging experience is fully supported on mobile. On smaller screens, the conversation list and chat window stack — tap a conversation to open it, and use the back button to return to the list.
