Customer Profile: Overview Tab Guide

The Customer Profile default page in AyloCare is a central hub that provides quick access to all the important details about a customer. The Overview tab is designed to give a summary of key information, helping users efficiently manage and understand their customer relationships.

This guide explains the structure and functionality of the Overview Tab and the edit sidebars available for customization.


Profile Section (Left Sidebar)

The Profile section, located on the left-hand side of the page, displays key customer details in an organized and accessible format. This section typically includes:

  • Customer Name: Displayed prominently at the top.
  • Photo or Avatar: A visual representation of the customer.
  • General Information: Phone number, email address, or location.
  • Status: Indicates the customer’s current status (e.g., Active, Inactive, Pending).
  • Additional Metadata: Custom fields like date of birth and gender.

There is a quick-action button to instantly book an appointment from the customer’s profile by clicking the “Book Appointment” button. You will be redirected to the calendar where you can easily setup an appointment with the relevant customer.

Editing the Profile Section

To edit the details in the Profile section:

  1. Click the Edit Profile button (or pencil icon) located near the Profile section.
  2. This opens the Edit Profile Sidebar where you can update basic information (e.g., first name, last name, age, gender, location, contact details).
  3. Save changes, which are immediately reflected in the Profile section.

Overview Tab (Main Content Area)

The Overview Tab is the default view when accessing a Customer Profile. It provides extra information about your customer’s:

  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Occupation
  • Employment Status
  • Relationship Status
  • Living Arrangement
  • Tags
  • Diagnosis
  • Symptoms

Editing the Overview Tab Details

To edit the contents of the Overview Tab:

  1. Click the Edit Overview button (or pencil icon) located near the tab.
  2. This opens the Edit Overview Sidebar where you can modify any detail of the Overview tab.
  3. Save changes, which are immediately applied to the Overview Tab.
